This one was done as a big jam piece, after the first day of the 2009 New York City Comic Con at a diner on 9th ave. Pencils by Carlos, Aaron (sorry, bro I took the nips out!), Louis, Marcos and Bradley. Inks and tones by Justin.
Justin has a go at the pig-like guards of Jabba's Palace in Return Of The Jedi. Co-Erase red pencil, Staedtler brush marker, Copic Markers and a little bit of Photoshop.
One day at lunch rob was venting about someone at work and he used the word "jizz bucket" to describe their personality. I had nothing to draw so I drew a literal interpretation of a jizz bucket. Inks by Justin.
This is a work in progress by Rob Israel. He only joins us for lunch on comic Wednesday, and works on it for 5 to 10 min. at a time. Maybe he can finish it some time this year.
I've been having a lot of fun with my new copic markers as you can tell here. I love the way they blend and the effects and build up of tones you can get with them. They're expsensive, but worth it. All drawings by Justin.
